Here is a list of the Wyoming real estate broker continuing education currently under development.

• Ethics in Real Estate - This online course covers duties to clients and customers, duties to the public, duties to brokers, and case studies.
• Tax Free Exchanges - The topics included in this course covers the basics of a tax free exchange of investment property. Topics covered include requirements of a tax free exchange, types of exchanges and the methods for transferring title when an exchange takes place.
• Overview of Real Estate Law - The subject matter of this continuing education course will cover themes such as provisional status, reciprocity agreements, real estate forms, continuing education, prelicensure, and the Wyoming Real Esate Commision.
• Contracts and Closing Statements - This course will provide knowledge for preclosing procedures, RESPA, closing staements, prorations, contracts used in real estate, discharge of contracts, federal and local laws and requirements, and pertinent legal information.

These are the current requirements for renewing your Wyoming Real Estate Broker license. We will always provide the newest information available and will update the requirements as soon as there are changes.


• To renew your Real Estate Broker’s License in the state of Wyoming you are required to complete 45 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
• 24 continuing education hours are required courses and 21 hours are elective hours. All continuing education must be completed prior to expiration.
• Excess continuing education hours may not be carried over to the next renewal cycle. Licensees will need to attach copies of their certificate of completion for each course with renewal form.
• Licensees are encouraged to retain a copy of each certificate of completion. The Board may randomly audit to verify continuing education compliance.
